What is yuro?

The Young Urology Researchers Organisation (YURO) is a collaborative Australian/New Zealand research organisation.

We are dedicated to empowering trainee doctors with the knowledge, tools and connections to carry out meaningful research and further their careers in Urology.

We are formed by trainee doctors, medical students, consultants, allied health, and others who have an interest in Urology.

  • We advocate for and support research that will benefit the Urological community.

  • We collaborate for funding opportunities to support our work and support other groups.

    We seek to form relationships nationally and internationally in order to facilitate improved research outcomes.

  • We provide a platform to connect trainees with up to date online information.

    We promote educational events and courses that benefit the urologic community.

  • We champion the work of our group and promote positive outcomes.

    We utilize social media to spread awareness for our projects and health in general.

    We are internationally recognized for publications produced at YURO.
